PARTS OF THE BODY!

Esta semana la profesora nos ha convertido en bailarines y estamos estudiando las partes del cuerpo mientras que cantamos y bailamos en clase.

Hemos aprendido a decir: I've got one head, two eyes, two ears, one nose, one mouth. He's got one hand, two arms, two hands, two legs, two knees, two feet, ten toes. I like my body. 

YA ESTAMOS EN TERCERO DE INFANTIL

Hello everybody!

Ya estamos de vuelta en el cole y estamos trabajando mucho en las clases de inglés.

Empezamos nuestra clase dándonos los buenos días y diciendo la fecha, el tiempo, nuestro estado de ánimo y nombrando a los encargados del día. 

El mes de septiembre hemos estado repasando el vocabulario relacionado con el aula: I' ve got a: pencil, pen, pencil case, book, notebook, rubber, crayon, glue, pencil sharpener and a pair of scissors. 

Can I have a brown pencil, please?

Estamos trabajando distintas palabras que empiezan por /m/ y  por /s/

PHONICS

Estamos repasando los distintos fonemas de los grupos 1, 2, 3, 4 y 5 con sus correspondientes gestos, que hemos aprendido durante este año. 

Group 1

s           Weave hand in an s shape, like a snake, and say ssssss.

a           Wiggle fingers above elbow as if ants crawling on you and say a, a, a.

t            Turn head from side to side as if watching tennis and say t, t, t.

i            Pretend to be a mouse by wriggling fingers at end of nose and squeak i, i, i.

p           Pretend to puff out candles and say p, p, p.

n           Make a noise, as if you are a plane – hold arms out and say nnnnnn.

Group 2

c k        Raise hands and snap fingers as if playing castanets, say ck.

e           Pretend to tap an egg on the side of a pan and crack it into the pan, saying eh, eh, eh.

h           Hold hand in front of mouth panting as if you are shaking out of breath and say h, h, h

r            Pretend to be a puppy holding a piece of rag, shaking head from side to side, and say rrrrrr.

m          Rub tummy as if seeing tasty food and say mmmmmm.

d           Beat hands up and down as if playing a drum and say d, d, d.

Group 3

g           Spiral hand down, as if water going down the drain, and say g.

o           Pretend to turn light switch on and off and say o, o, o, o.

u           Pretend to be putting up an umbrella and say u, u, u.

l            Pretend to lick a lollipop and say l, l, l, l, l, l.

f            Let hands gently come together as if toy fish deflating,say f ffff.

b           Pretend to hit a ball with a bat and say b, b, b.

Group 4

ai          Cup hand over ear and say ai, ai, ai

j            Pretend to wobble on a plate and say j, j, j.

oa         Bring hand over mouth as if you have done something wrong and say oh!

ie          Stand to attention and salute, saying ie ie.

ee or     Put hands on head as if ears on a donkey and say eeyore, eeyore.

Group 5

z           Put arms out at sides and pretend to be a bee, saying zzzzzz.

w          Blow on to open hand, as if you are the wind, and say wh, wh.

ng         Imagine you are a weightlifter, and pretend to lift a heavy weight above your head, saying ng…

v           Pretend to be holding the steering wheel of a van and say vv.

oo OO    Move head back and forth as if it is the cuckoo in a cuckoo clock, saying u, oo; u, oo (Little and long oo)

THE CONTINENTS

Este mes Daisy, Robin y Mouse han realizado un viaje en cohete a distintos lugares: Europe, Africa, Asia, North America, South America, Australia and Antarctica. Han aprendido palabras como: cielo (ski), estrellas (stars), sol (sun), luna (moon), planetas (planets), continentes (continents), cohete (rocket).
Este es el mapa que hemos trabajado para aprender los continentes.

ANIMALS

Esta semana estamos trabajando los animales en clase: tiger, lion, zebra, crocodile, gorilla, monkey, hippo, kangaroo, butterfly, giraffe.  Estamos aprendiendo lo que comen y donde viven:  Giraffes eat grass and leaves. Lions eat meat. Monkey eats peanuts. Gorillas live in the jungle. 

WE CELEBRATE EASTER AT SCHOOL

Los alumnos de cuatro años han decorado los huevos de Pascua en clase y han salido al patio a esconderlos. Se lo han pasado fenomenal y les ha encantado la actividad.

  

PLAYGROUND

Esta semana estamos aprendiendo el vocabulario que utilizamos en el patio del colegio: playground, slide, swing, climbing frame, bike, scooter, trampoline. Hemos aprendido una canción con el vocabulario y hemos jugado con la caña de pescar. Es un juego que nos encanta.

MY FAMILY

Este mes los alumnos de 4 años han estado trabajando los distintos miembros de la familia:family, grandad, granny, father, mother, brother, sister, baby, uncle, aunt, cousin. 

SHAPES: TRIANGLE, RECTANGLE, CIRCLE, OVAL, SQUARE, STAR, MOON

Hoy hemos aprendido algunas formas en clase: triangle, rectangle, circle, oval, square, star, moon.

Hemos cantado una canción, jugado con las formas de madera y realizado un dibujo. 

ADJECTIVES: BIG AND SMALL

Seguimos trabajando los objetos que vemos en clase y diferenciando los grandes y los pequeños. 

También hemos aprendido una canción para repasar el vocabulario:
